Mrs. Forrest Emigh, 68, of West Decatur, was killed at Buffalo, N.Y., last night when a car struck her as she crossed a street.
Mrs. Emigh, who had been visiting with a daughter at Cheektowaga, N.Y., was at Buffalo last evening and was crossing a street to board a bus when she was struck by a car. She was pronounced dead-on-arrival at the Mercy Hospital.
Mrs. Emigh is the former Martha Dora Straw, daughter of Uriah and Harriet (Fahr) Straw. She was born at West Decatur Jan. 13, 1896. She was married to Forrest Emigh who died in 1957.
The following children survive: Forrest, Lockport, N.Y.; Bruce W., Tyrone; Roy L., Mocks Hill, Philipsburg R.D.; Mrs. Charles (Adline) Walk, West Decatur; Mrs. Frank (Esther) Pallo, Cheektowaga, N.Y.; and Mrs. Bernard (Beverly) Moslak, Glass City, Philipsburg R.D. Twenty-seven grandchildren and a borther, Blanchard Straw of West Decatur, also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.
Mrs. Emigh was a member of the EUB Church. Complete funeral arrrangements will be announced tomorrow.

WEST DECATUR - Funeral services for Martha D. Emigh, 68, of West Decatur, who was struck and killed by a car at Buffalo, N.Y., Sunday evening, will be held Thurday at 2 p.m. from the West Decatur EUB Church with the Rev. Kenneth Polen officiating. Interment will be in the Summit Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the Dahlgren Funeral Home at Philipsburg this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock, tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Thursday from noon until time of service.
