Mrs. Sixbury came to Palatka only a short time since from Sycamore, DeKalb county, Ill., and up to the time of the accident enjoyed the most robust health, notwithstanding her seventy-two years of age. She was brought to Palatka from St. Augustine immediately after breaking her limb, where she has had the best medical attention and every want supplied by the loving and kind relatives who constantly attended her. There were strong hopes felt for her speedy recovery, but inflammation set in, and physicians and relatives saw that the end of a long and well spent life was near.
The body was prepared by Undertaker Mooney, and it was carried to the family burying ground in Illinois yesterday for interment.
