Bonnie Crouch was born to George B. Crouch and Edna E. Byrd in Ozona, Crockett Co TX where her father was a farmer and rancher. They moved to Barstow, Ward Co TX in 1909 having heard that the country was an "agricultural garden spot."
On December 25, 1928, Bonnie married Judson R. "Brownie" Ellsworth, son of Alfred Ellsworth and Minnie Maude Miller of Hood Co TX. Brownie had come to Barstow as a young man to help farm with his uncle, Judson Howard "J.H." Miller.
Bonnie and Brownie had one child, Madolyn Ann, born July 11, 1934, Barstow, Ward Co TX. Bonnie, age 25 years 9 months 29 days, died July 18, 1934 due to the complications of childbirth and is buried in Barstow Cemetery near her parents.

Daughter, Madolyn Ann Ellsworth Perkins was married to Bill Perkins on May 5, 1954. No children to this union. She died on January 3, 2001, Vidor, Orange Co TX from cancer. Burial place is Holder's Chapel Cemetery, Cool, Parker Co TX.
