Estelle Barnett, 90, was born April 19, 1923 to Ernest Ellison and Isabell Ellison in Springhill, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Adell Howard and her husband. As a young woman, Estelle confessed her life in Christ. She was educated in the public schools of Springhill, Louisiana. Upon moving to the Kansas City area in 1940, she established herself as a known Seamstress and was soon able to start her own business. Although she wasn't a mother biologically, Estelle loved children and over the years she was a
mother at heart to many. Estelle departed this life at the home on September 30, 2013. She will be deeply missed. She leaves to cherish her memory: two nephews, Willie Gilbert and James Gilbert (Barbara); as well as a host of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
