Funeral for Robbie Dean Elizabeth Boyett, 73, of Hillsboro will be today, Feb. 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. David Stidham officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Moulton.
Mrs. Boyett, who died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Parkway Medical Center, was born March 13, 1934, in Moulton to Aulsie and Jack Ellis. She graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1953 and never lost the classmate bonds. She worked as a secretary, bus driver and sewing factory worker. Her most beloved and treasured job was being a mother to her only child, Vickie, and grandmother to Addie, Betsy and Jon. She enjoyed the flowers of the seasons and the glory of nature throughout her life. Her friends from all realms of life brought her much joy and laughter. She was an accomplished seamstress that met any need for any occasion for her family. Mrs. Boyett was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Hats off to Robbie!
Survivors include one daughter, Vickie E. Cameron of Decatur; extended family daughter, Beverly Jones Harvey of Moulton; one brother, Buddy Ellis of Moulton; and three grandchildren, Addie E. Thomison and Betsy B. Cameron, both of Decatur, and Jon Harvey of Birmingham.
She will be greatly missed by her dog, Sugah.
Pallbearers will be Carl Cameron, Carl Thomison, Jack Dunlap, Lucas Dunlap, Tim Harvey and Jon Harvey.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church of Hillsboro.
Donations may be made to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church of Hillsboro.
