Services for Nannie Lee Ellis Atwood, 73, of Ellisburg, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Westside Community United Methodist Church by the Rev. Scott Wilson and G.W. Smith. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

Born Nov. 28, 1932, in Ellisburg, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Margaret Qualls Ellis.

She was a homemaker and a charter member of Westside Community United Methodist Church where she had served as a trustee. She was a former Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Dee Atwood; two sons, Marty Atwood of Liberty and Monty Atwood of Ellisburg; two daughters, Marlene Atwood and Marleta Atwood, both of Ellisburg; three sisters, Irene Houp of Hustonville, Pina Faye Nutgrass of Stanford and Evelyn Peyton of Liberty; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Atwood.

Pallbearers are Lonnie Pendergraft, James Peyton, Carroll Leigh, Bill Sallee, Brian Black and Merl Hicks. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Housam Haddad, Karen Likens, the Rev. Edward Parton, Jerry Wilcher, nieces and nephews and members of her Sunday school class.
