Algernon B. Ellis, 83, Ciivl War veteran, died Friday morning at a local hospital. His home was at the Milford Soldiers' Home. He had lived in Nebraska for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Letitia Ellis; two sons, Harry Ellis of Lincoln and Herbert Ellis of Lakewood, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Thompson and Mrs. Minnie Robinson of Lincoln and Mrs. Lucille Carlson of Denver; and seven grandchildren.
The body is being held at Castle, Roper and Matthews pending funeral arrangements.
