Obituary: Griffith Ellis, Waukeha. Mr. Ellis was ill for a long time, and despite the tender care of his wife and children he died on the 27th of February. The deceased was the son of William Ellis, Talyponciau, East, Fonshire, and he was the last of that family to leave this old world.. Mr. Ellis came to this country as a young man and he established, along with many other people from Fon in the Waukesha area. He had received a good education in Wales, and spent a term at Carroll College after coming over here. He was a teacher for several years at different day schools in this county, and spent the last twenty-five years of his life in Waukesha. He was a respected member of the English Presbyterians, and I understand that he and David Moses, son of the late Rev. John Moses were the two oldest members in the church. A widow and four daughters are waiting to mourn him.
