Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Carter, pastor of River Road Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.
Mrs. Barton was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Conroe, and was a longtime resident of Amarillo. She married Wesley Barton on April 30, 1949, in Amarillo.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rodney Barton and wife, Lisa, of Wimberly and Edward Barton and wife, Kathy, of Tulia; two brothers, Dewey O'Elliott Jr. of The Woodlands and Thomas F. Elliott of West Columbia; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
