Linda Ann Elliott Adams, 68, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late James Edward and Pauline Boyd Elliott. She was a member of Butner First Baptist Church and retired from John Umstead in medical records with over thirty years of service.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Charlie Bryan and Rev. Lennie Rogers. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

Surviving are her husband of forty- nine years, James Mahan Adams of the home, two daughters, Carol A. Pruitt of Creedmoor, Tonya A. Martinez (Rogelio) of Wilton, a son, Chris Adams(Sheila) of Katy, Texas, two sisters, Peggy E. Jackson of Stem, Carrie E. Ellixson of Butner, three granddaughters, Briley Adams, Makayla Adams, Kierston Adams and two grandsons, Justin Pruitt and Kevin Martinez.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening, January 2, 2014 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home
