Mrs. Clara Waldrep Elliott "Shorty," was called home to be with God on Saturday, June 10, 2006.

PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Arley, Ala., Mrs. Elliott moved to Hialeah, Fla., where she worked and met her husband, Clayton Dewey Elliott.
She was a homemaker and a devoted mother to their son, David. After his retirement from Florida Power and Light, they returned to his home in Lawndale, where they enjoyed gardening and the country.
Clara could turn tears to laughter with her quick wit.
Farewell to a beautiful mother, sister, aunt and friend. We love you.
