Francis E. Ellett

Francis Eugene Ellett, 89, died October 27, 1954, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Thomas, after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 1, 1865 in Blenheim, Schoharie COunty, son of Peleg and Elisabeth Roe Ellett. He married Maude Breese. She died in 1917.

He later married Lillian Baldiwn, who died in 1945.

Mr. Ellett had lived in Middleville for the past two years coming here from Milford, NY. At one time Mr. Ellett was in the lumber business in the Cooperstown area.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hartwick Seminary.

He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Kenneth Augur, Doylestown, Pa., mrs. Raymond WIllis, Schenectady, and Mrs. Michael Powers, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 Saturdayday from Mrs. Thomas' home, and the Evangelical Church, Hartwick Seminary at 1:30 pm, with the Rev. Frank Smith, Newport, officiating. Burial will be at Westford, NY.
