GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for Amanda Jane Brown Eller, 94, of Gainesboro, were held at 10 a.m. today, Monday, Oct. 10, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial was in Granville Cemetery.
Mrs. Eller died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1917, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Herman Brown and Emma Brown. On January 26, 1940, she was married to the late Clyde W. Eller, who passed away January 29, 2003. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Granville Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: David Eller; 2 Brothers: Bill and Dowell Brown; and 1 Sister: Lona Brown.
Survivors include 1 Son and 2 Daughters-in-Law: Jerry and wife, Jimmie Eller of McMinnville, TN, and Linda Eller of Memphis, TN; 2 Grandchildren: David Matthew Eller of McMinnville, TN, and Laura Marylove Eller of Memphis, TN; and 2 Great Grandchildren: Eli and Ethan Eller.
