Barbara Elder was the dau. of George Elder and Barbara Smith. She was one of eleven children. She grew up to marry George Pringle, son of William Pringle and Hannah Seely. Her sister Margaret married John Pringle, George's brother. To this union were born four children: William Walker, John Alexander, Thomas Edmund Peter and George. Barbara died in 1927 at the age of 81 years. Barbara's baptism, marraige and death records are all in the Huntingdon Church Registers.
