Bernice was born on July 31st 1925 to Walter and Elsie Eisenbraun. She attended school in Tripp, SD.
On June 2, 1945 Bernice was united in marriage with Robert S. Mayer in Los Angeles, California.
She was later married Howard J. Bollack on December 6, 1956 in LaVerne, Minnesota.
"Bernie", as she was known to her friends, was an active member of many civic organizations, the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, VFW Auxiliary and was the Commander of the Disabled Veteran's Women's Auxiliary Unit 7.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Mayer, her second husband Howard Bollack, two sons, Fredrick B. Mayer and Robert T. Mayer, and one great-grandchild, Joseph M Clark; and a sister, Marjorie Eisenbraun.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy ( Mayer) Clark and Husband Clayton of Frisco, Texas and sons James R. Bollack and wife Maxine of Ethan and Timothy J. Bollack, Sr. of Yankton, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers; Clarence Eisenbraun and wife Lucille of Tripp, Frank Eisenbraun and wife Di of Memphis, sisters Rose Marie Mayer of Tripp and Shirley Rundall of Mitchell.
Memorial service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church at 620 E. 3rd, Mitchell, SD on Saturday, September 1st with burial at Servicemen's Cemetery.
