Martha M. Drajna, 89, of Virginia, passed away April 5, 2016 at Essentia Health Virginia Care Center.

Martha Marie Drajna was born December 5, 1926 in Rosebud SD to Jacob and Anna (Goerch) Eisenbraun. When she was 13 years old, the family moved to Long Prairie MN and she graduated from Long Prairie High School. She was united in marriage to Leo Drajna in 1946 in Browerville. They farmed near Browerville until moving to Virginia in 1966.

Martha felt church was a very important part of her life, going on a missionary trip to Jamaica as well as making quilts and blankets for the needy. Traveling was her passion, going to most states and several countries.

Martha was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed sewing and needlework, cooking, canning, along with baking the best bread and apple pies. She was an avid learner and accepting of all people.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Denny) Pernu and Kathy Mendez; sons: Ron (Jeannie) Drajna, and Paul (Kim) Drajna; grandchildren: Dennis, Tracie, Cody, Jonathan, Jennifer, Abigail, Kate, Kelly, Rhonda, Zac, Dylan;
Great-Grandchildren; brothers: Lenhardt (Neal) Eisenbraun, and Marvin (Jean) Eisenbraun; nieces and nephews; and close special friend, Barb Landochi

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; brother, Edward Eisenbraun; sister, Florence Carlson; and special friend, Norman Christopherson
