Brillion – Mrs. S. T. Barnard, 72, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fern Bergholte, Waukesha, after a lingering illness.
The former Anna Georgia Eilers, she was born May 22, 1872, the daughter of Frederick and Margaret Eilers, at Milwaukee. She came to Brillion in 1891 and was united in marriage to Simeon Barnard Oct. 10, 1894. They resided here until the death of her husband a few years ago.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Fern Bergholte of Waukesha; two sons, Allan, Monroe and Karl of Brillion, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Barnard was a member of the Royal Neighbors and a charter member of the Brillion Woman’s club.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Leucker Funeral home here with Rev. H. T. Bandt officiating. Interment will be in the Brillion cemetery.
