Mrs. Cynthia May Aller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Eichelberger, was born May 1, 1873 in Kirkville, Wapello County, Iowa and departed this life at her home in Crete on Tuesday morning, October 30, 1945 at the age of 72 years, five months, and twenty-nine days.

Mrs. May Aller received most of her elementary education in the Crete public schools. Following her graduation from high school, she entered the Doane College Conservatory of Music, from which she received her degree in 1895. Upon the completion of her musical education she became and remained for many years a teacher of piano.

On August 27, 1896 she was united in marriage to George H. Aller at Council Bluffs, Iowa and to this union two sons were born.

Mrs. Aller was a member of Grace Methodist Church and as long as health permitted, she was an active participant in its program of work and worship. Previous to her long illness, she was also a member of PEO and the Order of Eastern Star.

Aside from a large number of friends, she is survived by her husband, George H. Aller of Crete; two sons, Dwight Aller of Alton, Illinois and Lieut. Charles L. Aller of Camp Lee, Virginia; one sister, Miss Lilly Eichelberger of Boise, Idaho, and two brothers, A.V. Eichelberger of Boise, Idaho and Frank E. Eichelberger of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Funeral services were held today (Thursday) November 1 at 2 p.m. at the Grace Methodist Church with Rev. Gale Moon officiating.

Interment was in Crete Riverside Cemetery.
