Annie Mae Edwards Alderman, 70, of Bunts Street, Pulaski, died at her home Tuesday evening.
Born Oct. 16. 1910 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Harrison Edwards and Woodie Florence O'Dell Edwards.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Hiwassee.
She was preceded in death by her husband Quincy Allen Alderman.
She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Robert (Mary) Peterson of Pulaski and four grandchildren. Also surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Pauline Willie of Pulaski, Mrs. Glenn "Buddy" (Doffle) Miles of Dublin, Maggie Edwards of Dublin, Gussie Edwards of Pulaski, Mrs. Paul (Eva Jean) Grouse of Pulaski, Mrs. Delia Carson of Independence, and Mrs. Rayne Merryman, Sandusky. Ohio.
The funeral will be friday, Jan. 23, at ll a.m. from the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elmer Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime today and the family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski Is in charge of arrangements.
