Lila Faye Baker, age 83, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Red Oak Rehab in Red Oak, TX. She was born November 13, 1921 in Banner, MS to James Canada and Bama Adell Mosley Edwards. She was a retired employee of Borgwarner in Water Valley, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Banner Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Baker on October 18, 2001.
Services were held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, MS. Burial will be in Banner Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Lola Jones of Red Oak, Texas; two sons, Edwin Baker and Ellis Baker, both of Banner; as sister, Lola Mae Baker of Banner; four grandchildren, Paula Fischer, Tracy Jones , Jacque Russell and Chad Baker; three great-grandchildren.
