Leola "Hun" Edwards Simon died Saturday, October 11, at the Statesboro Nursing Home. The Bulloch County native was a member of the Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Seabrooks, Statesboro; two sons, Calvin Wallace Jr. and Antonio Rodgers, both of Statesboro; two sisters, Pecola Edwards and Elizabeth Brack, both of Miami, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery.
