EDWARDS--At the family residence seven miles on the Lebanon road, Monday, March 11, 1929, Arthur J. Edwards age 50 years,. His is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Mai Paratt Edwards; one son, Raymond D. Edwards; three daughters, Mrs. J. S. Gupton, Misses Thelma and Mary Katherine Edwards; four brothers H.O. B. J., A.T. and S. H. Edwards, and one sister, Mrs. G.E. Johnson. Funeral from the residence as above this (Tuesday) afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services conducted by Rev. D.A. Ensor and Elder E.T. Rawland. The following friends will kindly attend and serve as pallbearers. Honary--William Gupton, G.S. Logue, L.W. Lane, R.D. Stanford, A.F. Stanford, J.T. McClanahan, George Lannom, Will Polk, Cliff McClandon, Wendall Niehol, H.C. Crtswell and M.C. Whitworth, Sr., Active--J.A. Johnson, Leopold Strauser, A.E. McClanahan, Henry Steel, Horace Manley, Charles Swindell, Leonard Lannon and Tom Page. Interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery Gupton Undertaking Co., directors, phone 6-3834.
