Edquist, Beatrice "Bea" Agnes Petrale, 79, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away 8/6/12 in her home in La Mirada, CA. Born to parents, Michael Petrale and Helen Knoetgen 5/27/1933 in Brooklyn, NY. She met and married Bert Edquist in 1955, moved to California and raised 4 children. She helped mother 3 generations of family with tough love and endless kindness. Bea's caring nature carried over to her profession of over 40 years as a diabetic nurse. She'd tell you it was the achievements of her children and grandchildren that made her most proud, and Bea was always there to support them and her family. Survived by daughter, Deborah (Ronald) Vander Sluis; sons, Darrell (Susan) Edquist, Kevin (Tanya) Edquist, Kerry Edquist (partner Joan); grandchildren, Travis, Steven, Kyle, Alexandra and Austin; brothers, Michael, John (d.) and Daniel Petrale; nieces, Brooke Heinen and Lee Petrale.
