Elizabeth Edmunds Arbaugh, 95, of Forest Lawn, St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away February 20, 2009 at Margaret Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born May 1, 1913 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude Edmunds.
She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and the Ohio Valley School of Nursing.
In 1934, she won the title of Miss Martins Ferry and Miss Tri-State. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville, Ohio, the Magnolia Twig and Gardener's Forum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Edward V. Arbaugh, Jr. and three brothers; Edwin, Bernard and Lt. Col. William Edmunds.
Surviving are her only son Edward V. Arbaugh, III and his wife Jennifer, of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; Ashley Gouveia of Wilton, Connecticut, Dudley Arbaugh of Cincinnati, Ohio and Erin Arbaugh of Chicago, Ill., two great-grandchildren; Isabel Gouveia and Jude Gouveia; and several nieces and nephews.
