Betty May Edmonston was the daughter of Charles Leonard Edmonston and his first wife, Mary J. Etta Schaub (1899 - 1957) She was born in Missouri and then lived in Los Angeles County, California. She married George N. DeLillo Jr. on 14 February 1949. These dates and the name of her husband came from the California state marriage records. If she wasn't married at the time of her application for a Social Security number, then her name would be listed as her maiden name, even if she died after she was married and changed her name to DeLillo. She died on 5 September 1991 in Downey, Los Angeles County, California. So far, there is no record on Findagrave of where she is buried or for where her husband is buried. According to USA Census records, she had a sister, Forest Edmonston. In the census records of her parents, and Forest, and herself, her mother was listed as Mary J. Edmonston. According to my father's records from his book, "My Own Edmonstons and a Few Others", he wrote that she was named Mary Etta Schaub. I included the J. in her name because that was what was there on the census records.
