Dene was born June 10, 1938 in Newark, AR. into a Christian family. He gave his life to the Lord at a young age. He passed away at the age of 75 on July 17, in Vacaville, Calif.
Dene served in the US Army as a Chemical Specialist in Maryland, CA, then returned to Cal Research, Richmond and finished his education, graduating from UC, Berkeley in 1967.
During his career Dene worked at Baxter Lab and General Electric.
Dene is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy of 53 years, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian, parents, Joe and Ruby and brothers, B. Joe and Doyle of Arkansas.
A celebration of Dene's life will be held Wednesday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Baptist Church, 401 Monte Vista, Vacaville. Pastor Milton Steck will officiate.
Reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to: Trinity Baptist Church's Ministries or Disabled Vets.
