A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, our beloved became a Licensed Practical Nurse caring for patients at Estes Nursing Home, Brookwood Hospital and Spain Rehabilitation Center.
Having served as First Lady of several churches in the Ninth Episcopal District, she was currently faithful to St. James, Pratt City.
Eternal rest was granted on Sunday, May 13, 2012. Life's memories remain with husband of 47 years, Rev. Johnnie L. Edison, Sr.; children, Johnnie, Jr., Darrell (Lisa) and Clara; sister, Bettie Fulcher and generations of grandchildren.
Family Visitation is 6:00 until 8:00 Friday.
Inhumation is 11:00 Monday at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo.
