Death cert. and family tree shows Josephine buried this cemetery; Elmer Edgecomb is next to her.

Marker is homemade, a small cement slab with gold chips spelling: "Mother, Josepene Edgecomb, born 1883" there is no DOD, the DOB is not same as records show. The following is from photographer, with thanks: "It's very hard to read - even sitting there and her name is misspelled. It's a handmade marker - stones in the cement, if you didn't know what it said it would be very hard to make out. Appears the date of birth on the stones says 1883."

Her husband Henry Clay Ward is buried at Oak Grove, Wyandotte Co KS.
