Chester Arthur Edens, 91, of Lowell, died, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
Chester was born on April 10, 1919 in Combs, AR, to Albert and Florence Edens.
He was a member of the Pleasant Street Church of Christ. Chester's favorite past time was traveling, fishing, spending time with his family and friends and attending church on Sunday.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Tisha Russell Edens of the home; two sons, Jerry Edens & wife Maxine of New Caney, TX and Eddie Edens of Springdale; two daughters, Barbara Spier & husband Del of Hempstead, TX and Beverly McKenna & husband Michael of Savannah, GA; ten grandchildren, Jon Edens, Bert Edens, Christopher Edens, Holli De Clemente, Travis Tupper, Katy McKenna, Patrick McKenna, Jim McKenna, Jeremy Edens and Casey Edens; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Denver Edens of Coos Bay, Oregon; three sisters, Lula Cooper of Carthage, MO, Thelma Parker of Ball Creek, AR and Glenda Martin of Springdale; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was held at the funeral home on Friday, Nov 5, 2010 at 10:00am. Pastor Larry Branum officiated the services with burial being held at the Ledbetter Cemetery near Combs, AR. Pallbearers for the service were his grandsons.
