Aged Lady Dead.
Mrs. Rebecca Cox, one of the oldest residents of Jefferson township, died Saturday at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Ches Alsman, seven miles east of Carlisle. She was the widow of John Cox and was 88 years, 4 months, and 8 days old. Death was due to pneumonia.
She is survived by four daughters who live in this county- Mrs. Chester Alsman, Mrs. Wingrove Bennett, Mrs. Elizabeth Tinkham and Mrs. George Carrico, and one son, Joe Cox, of Imperial, Calif.
Funeral services were held at eleven o'clock Monday morning at Indian Prairie Baptist church conducted by Rev. Elias Denny, of Shelburn. Interment in the Indian Prairie cemetery.
