President of Bradford Brewing Company, Bradford, PA in 1901
First trade was that of a cabinet maker and engaged in furniture and undertaking in Salamanca, NY, in 1877. Also engaged in cattle business out west until returning to Salamanca in 1881, and working in meat business of Adam Sanders.
In 1882, he entered the shops of New York, Lake Erie & Western railroad building cars. In 1885, he came to Bradford to take the responsible position of foreman and wreck master of the Erie Railroad.
In 1898, he engaged in window manufacturing and started a factory in Hazelhurst, PA.
