Age 93, of Arkadelphia AR, died Wednesday at The Pines Nursing Home in Hot Springs AR; born in Chidester to F E and Minnie Powell Benton, the youngest of seven children; member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia for sixty four years.
Preceded in death by husband of fifty eight years Harold G Echols, son Wayne Echols, sisters Estelle Shankle Hardin and Mabel McCaskill, and brothers Ernest, L T, Jay, and Hubert Benton.
Survivors include son William Echols, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Clark County, or the First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
