Oxford,March 7-Clara B.,wife of Edson F. Eccleston,64 years old,died Thursday night at her home on Clinton street.She was the daughter of William H.and Mary Haught Homer and was born in Olean. Mrs.Eccleston had suffered with acute heart
trouble for some time but a short time ago she had a shock. She was a member of St.Paul's church,and of LaFayette Chapter O.E.S.being treasurer at the time she was stricken with illness. Her husband and two grandsons,survive her.
The funeral was held at the home this afternoon,the Rev.E.J.Bates officiating. Burial was in Sylvan Lawn cemetry,at Greene.
