Aged Blacksmith Dead

Henry Ebert Died Yesterday at the Home of His Son.

Mr. Henry Ebert died yesterday morning of consumption of the bowels at the home of his son, Louis Ebert, 220 North Mosley avenue. He was 73 years of age and has resided in this city since last June. He was a blacksmith and an old soldier, being a member of the 29th Indiana Infantry. He was born in Germany and has lived in the United States the greater part of his life. He leaves a son in the city and a daughter, Mrs. Sophia Dorney of Chicago.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the home. Rev. Harmon will have charge of the services. Interment will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
