Mrs. Laurine C. Anhalt, 75, 503 Schwartz Street, Plymouth, died at Valley View Medical Center in Plymouth on Thursday, Aug. 20, 1987, where she had been a patient the past two weeks.
The former Laurine Eberle was born March 24, 1912, at St. Nazianz, a daughter of the late Anton and Rose Kaltenbrun Eberle. She attended St. Gregory Parochial School at St. Nazianz.
On June 30, 1937, she was married to Roland A. Anhalt at St. Nazianz. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Anhalt had been employed at the Salvatorian Center at St. Nazianz for a short time prior to her marriage.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and a member of the Christian Woman’s Guild of the church and a member of the kitchen committee.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Robert, Town of Plymouth; James, Plymouth; Thomas, Town of Greenbush; and Glenn, Town of Plymouth; 11 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Stiefvater, St. Nazianz.
A funeral Mass was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Rev. Wayne Bittner was celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
