CADIZ — Doris Marie Eberhardt Turner, 84, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on April 21, 1926. She lived in Cadiz for the past 30 years. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Gerald) Allen of Fulton, Ky.; her son, Thomas (Cinda) Turner of Cadiz, Ky.; grandchildren, Darcey Denton of Willow Springs, Ill., Jason Turner of Paducah, Ky., Amanda Brelage of Lexington Park, Md., and Megan Bivens of Clarksville, Tenn.; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Guy Turner; four sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were Julius and Gisela Eberhardt.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Shijo Vadakumkara officiating and a Rosary service to follow. Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
