| Birth: | Aug. 15, 1915 | | Death: | Apr. 30, 2005 |  Floyd was born Aug. 15, 1915, in Portage County in the town of Grant, to Emil and Mary (Gaulke) Eberhardt. He married Mildred C. Jinsky on Aug. 28, 1951, in Wisconsin Rapids.
He served his country as a military policeman with the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in New Guinea and Australia. He was employed by Consolidated Papers Inc. in the Biron Division, from 1947 to 1977, retiring as a supervisor in the cleaning department after 30 years of service.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes. He loved polka music and always enjoyed a cold beer. He also loved to camp and would go out on his pontoon boat whenever possible.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred, of the town of Grant; three sons, Gary (Cindy) of Oshkosh, David of Wisconsin Rapids and Michael (Angela) of Port Edwards; three daughters, Sally (Gerald) Moon of Wisconsin Rapids, Cynthia (Randy) Koch of Marshfield and Mary (David) Burgeson of Wisconsin Rapids; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Jaime, Stephanie, Casey, Heidi, Nicholas, Danny and Cody; three great-grandchildren, Shawn, Tanner and Dakota; and one brother, John Eberhardt of Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lester, Elmer, Urban and Harold; and three sisters, Arvilla Pischke, an infant sister Loretta and Lorinda Kester.
