He was born Feb 12, 1921 in Plymouth, the son of the late Walter and Malinda (Miller) Eberhardt.
Warren served in U.S. Army from 1942-1945, in the 3rd Army 80th Division. He fought in four major campaigns in the European theater including the D-Day invasion in Normandy France and was awarded the Bronze Star.
Following his service he was married on January 19, 1946 he married Loretta Matzdorf at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. They made their home in Plymouth.
He had worked as a journeyman plumber for his father-in-law Otto Matzdorf and then started Eberhardt Plumbing and Heating, working the business until his retirement.
His wife preceded him in death May 17, 2005.
He was a charter member of the Worlds Cheese Center V.F.W. Post #5612 and had served as it's commander for several terms and proudly served on its drill team and honor guard and firing squad for several decades.
Known to his friends as "Plunger", he played for many years on the Casey Jones Bowling team, which won several championships, and he also enjoyed ice fishing. Warren also enjoyed following the Packers, the Bucks, and the Brewers.
Survivors include one daughter Lynn (Dennis) Pekulik of Sheboygan Falls and one son Mark (Nancy) Eberhardt of Plymouth, two granddaughters Jennifer Pekulik of Oak Creek WI and Kristina Pekulik of Milwaukee and his sister and brother-in-law Robert and Edith Vanderkin of Plymouth and his cousin Renee Oberreich.
Burial will be in the Plymouth Union Cemetery.
