Virginia A. Attaway, 72, of Denton, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born on December 12, 1938, in San Angelo to Lawrence Eaves and Ruth Lawless Eaves. Virginia married George C Attaway on September 9, 1956, in San Angelo. She attended Lakeview High School in San Angelo, was a member of Southmont Baptist Church, and was a teacher at Lake Dallas ISD.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors Chapel with Larry Reynolds Officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to SPCA of Texas, ATTN: Development, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212.
