Edna Ruth Eaves Ausmus, 77, of Chattanooga died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, in a local hospital.
She was retired from the Krystal Co. after 42 years of service.
She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and the Believers Sunday School Class.
She was a member of the East Lake Chapter #238 Order of the Eastern Star and was past appointed grand office and past matron of the chapter.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Lestie Eaves; brother, Oscar Ray Eaves.
She is survived by three brothers, Martin L. Eaves, Benny F. Eaves, George J. Eaves, all of Chattanooga; four sisters, Anna E. Klein, Nell S. Johns, Betty Jo Smith, all of Chattanooga, and Judy E. Cocoris of Glendora, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Morris Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Mason and the Rev. R.T. Roberts officiating.
Interment will be in Morris Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Butch Gravely, Danny Lusk, Joseph Mason, Scott Norman, Don Stafford, J.W. Walters.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Morris Hill Baptist Church, 1804 Morris Hill Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
