The 1900 U.S. Census for Franklin Township, Newton Co., Missouri (19 June) finds Cora and Frank Eaton. Frank was b. Jan. 1879, KY. They had no children and there were no births listed. However, she was pregnant at the time of this census as she died a few months later in child birth.
This census also shows that Frank and Cora were living next door to his parents, Coleman P. and Agnes and their six children remaining in the home. Their ages range from 24 yrs to 5 yrs.
Frank was listed as a farm laborer, probably working on his father's farm.
Frank and Cora's baby boy, William L., was born and died 10 Sept. 1900.
Thanks to Janice Dean LeMaster for advising of Cora's marriage. Janice's husband's great-grandmother, Oma Eaton Kirk Newton, was Frank's sister.
