Mrs. Eleanor K. Brower, age 70 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Christian Ministries Hospice. Mrs. Brower was born in Morgantown, Mississippi on March 8, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Stanley Easterling and Virgie Boone Easterling; son, Tony Brower; brother, Clovis Easterling. She was a member of Griffin First Assembly. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky A. and Felicia Brower of Carrollton, Edwin and Wendy Brower of Griffin; daughter-in-law, Tina Brower of Colorado; grandchildren, Erick Brower, Cory Brower, Garret Brower, Anna Brower, Katie Brower; sister, Blanche Stringfield of Morgantown, MS; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Eleanor K. Brower will be on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Griffin First Assembly. Following the visitation, funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm with Dr. Randy Valimont officiating. Interment will follow on Sunday at 2:00 pm central time at Morgantown Cemetery, Hwy 587, Morgantown, MS 39483.
