Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in her 81st year. Laura received her wings on August 23, 2010. She leaves behind her friend and companion John Silen, loving mother of Wanda Easter (Mike Morrow) of Inverary and Brenda Cyr of Kingston. Loving and chersihed granny to James and Jacklyn Cyr, and brothers Blake and Lloyd Foley.. Laura is predeceased by her husband Jack, son Rogar, parents Charles and Anna Foley and brother Clifford of Lansdowne. She will be sadly missed by her family, freinds and staff of Gibson 3. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be celebrated. Final place of rest Union Cemetery, Lansdowne. For those who wish, donations may be made to the U.H.K.F. - St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital or to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Laura.
