Dorcas married Abel C. Eastabrooks in Bradford, Pennsylvania. She was his 2nd wife. Abel was a widower. He brought to the marriage 4 children, then he and Dorcas had 5 more: Nathaniel Catlin, Mahlon D., Catherine Dorcas, George and Ira.
After her husband died in 1848, the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census states that she was living in Wysox Township, Illinous.
Later in life, Dorcas lived with son Nathaniel, until her death. Her husband predeceased her by 52 years.
