Charles was the first son of Catharine Frisbie and Abel C. Eastabrooks. His other siblings were: Laura, Aaron Gaylord and Levi Frisbie.
Charles' mother died when she was just 30 and his father remarried and moved back to Connecticut taking all of his sons and leaving Charles' only sister with their aunt and uncle, Laura & Ira Bronson.
His half siblings from his father's 2nd marriage to Dorcas Catlin were: Nathaniel Catlin, Mahlon D., Catherine, George and Ira.
Charles married Mary Ann King. They had 4 children: Mary Ellen and Charles, Jr., Laura and William.
Charles was a farmer.
