Annie Easley Stroud Anderson died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Promise Hospital of Vicksburg. She was 97.

Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Gurdon, Ark. She married Lawrence Stroud in 1932, and they had three children, Wanda Geneva, Aubrey Gene and Doris Ann. Mr. Stroud was killed in an accident in 1941. Mrs. Anderson and her children moved to Camden, Ark., in 1945, where she married Charles "Bill" Anderson in 1953. She worked for the Bag Pack Division of International Paper Company in Camden for 35 years. Mrs. Anderson was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Camden for many years. She loved to write letters and cook for her family and friends. Mrs. Anderson moved to Vicksburg in 2006.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Junius Williams of Vicksburg; her son, Aubrey Gene Stroud of Commerce City, Colo.; four grandchildren, Randall Williams (Shirley) of Vicksburg, Royce Williams (Debbie) of Shreveport, La., Belinda Fuchsberger (Oliver) of Prior Lake, Minn., and Erika Jansen (Roger) of Henderson, Colo.; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Ann Stroud; her second husband, Charles "Bill" Anderson; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Stroud; her parents, James Thomas "Tom" Easley and Maude Lou Miner Easley; and 12 siblings.

Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. A visitation will be held at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden Saturday from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. with interment at Easley Cemetery in Gurdon, Ark., at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers will be deacons of Immanuel Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Anderson's grandchildren and caregivers.
