Clarence O.L. Earp, Jr. was born in Pritchett, Texas on January 27, 1924 to
Clarence O.L. Earp, Sr.
and Daisy Prince Earp. He passed this life on December 7, 2004. He is survived
by his wife of 54
years Sarah Holloway Earp of the home and four children, Rodney Lee Earp and his
wife Cheri
Langlois of Mendocino, Calif., Susan Earp Jones, White Oak, TX, Nancy Earp
Stansberry and Mark A.
Stansberry of Edmond, OK, and Laura Earp Autrey and Philip Autrey of Kennedale,
TX; by eight
grandchildren, Joe Stansberry and his wife Charlotte Stansberry, Bozeman, MT,
Kara Bryant and her
husband, Chris Bryant of Midland, TX, Matt Stansberry and his wife Mandy
Stansberry, Edmond, OK, J'
Lynne Wilson of White Oak, TX, Aubrey and Josh Kingcade of Edmond, OK, Victoria,
Ali, and Nicholas
Autrey of Kennedale, TX; and by four great grandchildren, Maisy, Sadie and Ian
Bryant and Caden
Willson; brothers-in-law Jack Holloway and wife Mary of Osceolo, MO, and Dan
Holloway and wife
Barbara of Pritchett, TX; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one brother and four sisters.
He was an active member of the Gilmer Church of Christ. He retired from Exxon
after 32 1/2 years
working in several locations in Texas, Libya, and spent his last years in
Hennessey, OK.
He owned and managed an art shop for ten years on Main Street, Hennessey, OK.
After retirement he
dealt in antiques and collectibles and continued until his illness prevented.
