Ancel Earp was the son of Shedrick Newton Earp, MD and Nina Eloise Jones Earp.
He was a prominent insuranceman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was the Presient and CEO of Ancel Earp, McEldownney, and Assoc.
He was appointed Adjutant General of Oklahoma by Governor Robert Williams. At twenty, he was the youngest AG to serve. He also was Major in the US Army during WWI.
In 1917 he married Lillian Tidnam in Oklahoma City.
He was a strong family man, a good husband and father, and a wonderful grandfather.
