Mrs. Susan Moyers, wife of the late Joseph Moyers, and a daughter of Abraham Early, died last Saturday evening at her home near Massanetta Springs. She was about 63 years of age and the mother of fourteen children, all of whom are now living. She was a devout member of the German Baptist church and was held in high regard by the people of her community. Funeral services were held on Monday at Mt. Pleasant church, and the interment was in the Early burying-ground. Mrs. Moyers' children are: Benjamin Moyers, Mrs. Harvey Kagey, John Moyers, Mrs. Jacob Manning, Samuel Moyers, Mrs. Isaac Miller, Mrs. R. A. Liskey, William Moyers and Joseph Moyers, of this county; Jacob Moyers, of Roanoke; Mrs. John Kagey, of Ohio; Mrs. Frank, of Indiana; Mrs. Rumsey, of Ohio; and Isaac Moyers, of Ohio.---July 26, 1901 Harrisonburg Rockingham Register.
