Marvin retired from Allison in 1992 as a Machinist. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of VFW Post #1111, Mooresville, American Legion Post #64.
Marvin enjoyed Fishing, hunting and being outdoors with family and friends.
Marvin is survived by step-daughter, Sherry Sterner and her children Jeff Anderson and Mark Sterner also many nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Froderman) Earles.
